Uha Isnaini, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., from the Algebra Laboratory, Department of Mathematics, Universitas Gadjah Mada, was invited to participate in the Short-Term Invitation Training on Cybersecurity Capacity Development held in the Republic of Korea. The program was implemented by Stealien Co., Ltd. as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) under the KOICA-funded project titled “Establishment of Indonesia Cybersecurity Training Center and Capacity Building Program.” The training was conducted at Ajou University from January 10 to January 23, 2026.

The program aimed to enhance Indonesia’s national cybersecurity capability by strengthening human resource capacity through technical training for faculty members and operational management training for practitioners. The training included both joint and separate sessions for faculty participants and operational staff.

For faculty participants (Technical Trainers), the programcovered:

  • Overview of cybersecurity education systems in Korea

  • Curriculum and content development for cybersecurity training

  • Practical hands-on sessions on I-Shield and I-Shield Jr. courses

  • Visits to cyber range facilities and leading cybersecurity institutions

  • Workshop for action plan formulation

Through this participation, Dr. Uha Isnaini contributed to the broader objective of strengthening Indonesia’s cybersecurity ecosystem and supporting institutional collaboration between KOICA and BSSN. The training also provided a structured framework for developing actionable plans to enhance cybersecurity education and capacity development initiatives upon return.

This engagement represents an important step toward reinforcing Indonesia’s cybersecurity training system and fostering sustainable international cooperation in cybersecurity capacity building
