Lecturing session:

The final day of CIMPA SCHOOL 2025 began with a lecture by Dr. Anna Maria Iezzi. She started her session by presenting the historical background of Robert McEliece’s seminal paper on ‘A Public-Key Cryptography System Based on Algebraic Coding’. She then introduced the McEliece framework, detailing the key generation, encryption, and decryption processes within the system.

Exercise and Sagemath session

During the exercise session, participants continued working on problems related to cryptography, as assigned by the speaker. This was followed by a SageMath session, where participants engaged in practical computations related to coding and cryptographic algorithms. This marked the final SageMath session of the school.

The closing ceremony commenced with participants sharing their reflections and experiences from the two-week program. Following this, remarks were delivered by Dr. Richard Griffon, Coordinator of CIMPA Research School 2025; Dr. Uha Isnaini, Chair of the Organizing Committee; Dr. Christophe Ritzenthaler, Executive Director of CIMPA; and Prof. Wiratni, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPM., Secretary of Partnerships and Global Relations at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
