The Algebra Research Group warmly welcomed two internship students from Universitas Islam Negeri Semarang who joined our laboratory under the Kerja Praktik program from 5 January to 6 March 2026. During their visit, they conduct research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Indah E. Wijayanti, S.Si., M.Si.

1. Adi Setiawan
Topic: Prime Ideals on Trivial Extension
Adi Setiawan works on the study of prime ideals in the context of trivial extensions of rings. His research focused on understanding how prime ideals behave under the construction of a trivial extension, particularly the relationship between prime ideals of the base ring and the structure of the module.
2. Ahmad Fuad Luthfi
Topic: Clean Rings on Trivial Extension
Ahmad Fuad Luthfi investigates the concept of clean rings within the framework of trivial extensions. His research examined conditions under which a trivial extension inherits or reflects the clean property from the base ring.
During their stay, both students strengthened their theoretical foundation in group theory, ring theory, and module theory, which serve as essential background for their respective research topics. They actively participated in discussions, reading sessions, and problem-solving.
