AIMS: is to work together, completing paper, proposal, dissertations, theses, and/or presentation slides writing. The purpose is to provide facilities to speed up the writing.
Complete of Scientific Paper Writing Bootcamp for Master’s and Doctoral students, organized by the Algebra Research Group, Department of Mathematics, Universitas Gadjah Mada, was held on May 30–31, 2025, at the Sekarjagad Room, 6th Floor, Wisma MM Hotel, UGM Yogyakarta.
The main objective of this two-day event was to facilitate focused academic writing by providing a supportive environment for students to work on research papers, proposals, dissertations, theses, and presentation materials. The bootcamp began with an opening remark and guidance session by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Indah Emilia Wijayanti, M.Si., the head of Algebra Labortoray, who outlined the goals. After that, students worked on their own tasks, depending on their needs. Some students continued writing their theses, some prepared abstract for their presentation at upcoming conferences like CIMPA School and The 8th BIGTC at UGM, Indonesia and the AMC in Thailand, while others update their papers for publication. Beside that, the event encouraged interaction and collaboration among students, fostering an atmosphere of shared experience and academic discussion. Students also had the valuable opportunity to consult directly with Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Indah Emilia Wijayanti, M.Si. throughout the sessions. This bootcamp gave students a chance to improve their writing and strengthen collaboration within the research group.
