The Indonesian Algebra Society Seminar 2025<\/strong>, hosted by Universitas Mataram<\/strong>, brought together mathematicians, researchers, and students from across Indonesia to discuss the latest advances in algebra and its applications. The Algebra Laboratory<\/strong> from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) actively participated in this event, showcasing research excellence across various algebraic fields.<\/p>\n The delegation was led by Prof. Indah Emilia Wijayanti<\/strong>, Head of the Algebra Laboratory, who served as a general presenter with a talk on module theory, highlighting structural properties of modules over non-commutative rings. Prof. Yeni Susanti<\/strong> served as a keynote speaker, presenting an inspiring lecture on graph theory and its algebraic applications. Meanwhile, <\/span>Dr. Iwan Ernanto <\/strong>guided the undergraduate participants competing in <\/span>KOALA 2025<\/strong> and also delivered a talk on the theory of derivations on rings and modules, linking derivations with ring extensions and module structures.<\/span><\/p>\n Two of our Ph.D. students<\/strong>, Felicia Servina Djuang<\/strong>\u00a0and Dy Outdom<\/strong>, presented their current research at the seminar. Djuang discussed algebraic aspects of graph theory, while Outdom presented his findings in group theory, focusing on algebraic structures and morphisms related to profinite groups.
