Kuwat Triyana, M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, emphasized the importance of this event in supporting research activities within the faculty and Indonesia as a whole. He encouraged participants from various countries to use this opportunity for academic inspiration <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">and collaboration. At the end of his remarks, <strong data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"191\">he officially declared the CIMPA School 2025 open.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lecturing Activities<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first lecture was delivered by Prof. Valerio Talamanca on Algebraic Number Theory. He began with an introduction to number fields, explaining real and complex embeddings and their essential properties. He started with a motivating example using circles and lemniscate curves to illustrate the algebraic group law. He then defined a lattice L in the complex plane and introduced the Weierstrass \u2118-function relative to L, presenting results about generating elements of elliptic functions associated with the lattice.
